Druk Yul, 'Land of the Thunder Dragon', as Bhutan is locally known, is hidden in the eastern folds of the Himalaya. The 47,000 sq km kingdom is bordered by Tibet in the north, Sikkim in the west and India in the East and South. Druk Yul with its magnificent beauty, spectacular monasteries and forts (known as Dzongs) and pristine landscape can truely be called Shangri-la.
We have put together the above three programs for Bhutan, taking into consideration the flight schedule between Kathmandu and Paro (Monday and Thursday), but should you want to visit Bhutan without coming via Nepal, we will be happy to customize an itinerary for you taking the flight schedule from your last point of embarkation before entering Bhutan
